Requirements
- College Diploma or equivalent work experience in insurance.
- 3 – 5 years of progressive experience within a Direct Insurance Sales environment.
- Advanced understanding of Aviva Direct Agency guidelines, processes, and systems.
- Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities with experience in project work.
- Strong analytical and project management skills.
- Proven focus on Sales, Customer Experience, and Employee Engagement.
- Broad knowledge and understanding of Personal Lines insurance and Underwriting.
- Self-starter with a quick learning ability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with teams and get results through a collaborative approach with collaborators.
- Solid ability to handle and resolve business and customer problems.
- Working towards or completion of CIP designation.
- Good understanding of Direct Insurance Inbound Sales Centre operations.
Responsibilities
- Drive strong sales results with a strict focus on customer experience and high employee engagement.
- Ensure continuous improvement and achievement of operational efficiency.
- Provide support, leadership, and mentoring to Sales staff to achieve high levels of performance.
- Actively lead projects, development, and implementation within the Digital and Direct Channel.
- Manage performance and provide mentorship, leading a team of Insurance Agents to meet sales and business objectives.
- Implement and adhere to established underwriting guidelines and practices to build and maintain a profitable book of business.
- Drive the digital evolution of Aviva Direct Agency to offer channel choice to customers.
