Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, Information Technology, or related field at a North Dakota College or University, and taking at least 6 credits during the internship or semester prior the internship is required.
- Strong written & verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment
- High level of attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Time management – the ability to manage multiple priorities in a supportive environment
- Ability to think creatively and share freely of ideas
- Ability to be adaptive and work independently as a self-starter and self-developer
- Able to collaborate effectively as part of a team and know when to ask for help
- Experience with Microsoft Office Cloud products
Responsibilities
- Prepare standard sales quotes and proposals for Microsoft cloud products
- Respond to customer requests to add products to their Microsoft subscriptions
- Place standard customer orders for Independent Software Vendor (ISV) products
- Schedule changes to annual renewals in the Microsoft Partner Center portal at client request
- Research complex licensing questions from customers, leveraging tools such as Microsoft Copilot
- Assist in managing the internal team’s licensing queue by assigning cases to the appropriate rep
- Update, organize, and maintain the internal team’s central Knowledge base as needed
- Help coordinate internal projects (e.g., tool rollouts, case templates, tracking discounts, etc.)
- Encouraged to pursue a Microsoft certification during the internship, with Stoneridge covering the exam fee
- Opportunity to job-shadow in other departments, depending on career goals
