Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
- At least 5 years of experience designing architectures to include the software, hardware and communications to support the total requirements, as well as provide for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces
- Knowledge of activity, data and process modeling techniques and practices, to include hands on experience with Enterprise Architecture (EA) development modeling tools, such as Cameo
- Ability to apply enterprise architecture concepts to specific secure and survivable communications development tasks in a structured approach
- Active TS/SCI clearance is required to be considered by this role
Responsibilities
- Participate on the Mission Engineering team that focuses on studies for current and future systems, programs and products by developing DOD enterprise and solution architectures. These studies will identify gaps and result in requirements development for the Nuclear Command Control and Communication (NC3) systems and programs. These activities will use System-of-System methodologies and modeling and simulation techniques to integrate into current and future NC3 Systems
- Evaluate problems of workflows, organization and planning, and develop appropriate corrective action
- Serve as the NC3 Enterprise Architecture subject matter expert to support data-driven enterprise decisions based on the NC3 Enterprise and Solution Architectures
- Support senior leaders and provide Enterprise and system architectural and recommendations to meet strategic objectives
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with senior Nuclear C3 community stakeholders such as OSD (NII), Joint Staff, and USSTRATCOM
- Knowledge of Nuclear C3 systems and operational and analytical experience in nuclear/strategic systems
- Experience working on DoD programs or systems
- The Open Group Framework (TOGAF) certification and/or DOD Architecture Framework (DODAF) certification
