Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in designing and constructing scalable, reliable front-end and back-end services and applications.
- Proficiency in full-stack development, with front-end expertise in JavaScript/ReactJS and back-end proficiency in developing RESTful APIs utilizing RDBMS or NoSQL storage systems.
- Experience in developing scalable cloud-native microservices, along with API design and implementation.
- Familiarity with Cloud Technologies such as Azure and GCP.
- Strong command of Java and JavaScript.
- Exposure in development of scalable cloud native microservices, designing and building APIs.
- Knowledge in Java and Spring/Spring Boot.
- Knowledge of open-source libraries, design patterns and micro-service architecture. Familiarity with CI/CD and unit testing.
- Experience in production system operations (logging, telemetry, alerting etc.).
- Exposure to UI development and the middleware of the stack (backend).
Responsibilities
- Assist with complex software systems problems by leveraging state-of-the-art technology.
- Gain exposure to various emerging technologies.
- Assist with technical direction, architecture assistance and expertise to the team.
- Support projects of high visibility across the organization.
- Participate in medium- to large-scale, complex, cross-functional projects by developing projects, product and business requirements; translating requirements into technical solutions; gathering requested information (for example, design documents, product requirement); designing robust and scalable architectures; writing and developing code; conducting unit testing; communicating status and issues to team members and stakeholders; collaborating with cross functional teams; troubleshooting open issues and bug-fixes; enhancing design to prevent re-occurrences of defects; ensuring on-time delivery, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
- Customer Service experience, particularly in creating inclusive digital experiences and knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
- Knowledge of accessibility best practices and Walmart’s accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture.
