Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive experience in compensation, including global and executive compensation, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
- Proven success using data to drive decisions, simplify complex frameworks, and make recommendations to C-level executives.
- Strong understanding of how compensation programs impact broader organizational objectives, including financial planning and talent strategies.
- Experience influencing and communicating effectively with senior executives, board members, and cross-functional partners.
- Familiarity with compensation analytics tools, HRIS platforms, and relevant compliance regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to build, scale, and motivate a growing team; committed to fostering a culture of collaboration and inclusion.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Fivetran’s compensation philosophy, ensuring alignment with our culture, organizational goals, and market trends.
- Continuously benchmark and analyze market data to maintain competitive and equitable salary structures globally.
- Partner with the Chief People Officer and executive leadership to shape executive compensation frameworks, including board-level discussions where applicable.
- Oversee the design and administration of equity programs, ensuring compliance and alignment with Fivetran’s growth objectives.
- Lead the annual compensation review cycle, including salary adjustments, bonus programs, and equity grants.
- Establish and maintain governance processes to ensure compliance with all relevant labor and regulatory requirements, in each region Fivetran operates.
- Use analytics and market research to inform executive decisions, monitor pay equity, and identify trends affecting compensation strategies.
- Collaborate with HRIS teams to enhance compensation tools and dashboards, enabling real-time insights and forecasting.
- Work closely with HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition to design compelling total rewards packages for new hires, promotions, and retention strategies.
- Communicate compensation policies and changes to leadership, managers, and employees in a transparent and engaging manner.
- Champion a culture of fairness, inclusion, and pay transparency.
- Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing compensation team, fostering an environment of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- Provide ongoing coaching and development to ensure the team stays ahead of evolving compensation best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- CCP certification is a plus.
