Requirements

  • Understanding of desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
  • Managing user accounts, permissions, and security policies.
  • Using remote access tools (e.g., TeamViewer, AnyDesk, RDP).
  • Basic understanding of security best practices, antivirus solutions, and data protection.
  • Experience with system recovery tools and backup strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and fix issues on LAN/WAN, VoIP telephone, AV systems, printers and other computing equipment.
  • Configure printing equipment as needed to ensure output adheres to company specifications.
  • Create and maintain print queues on the print server.
  • Perform routine maintenance and operation-related troubleshooting for printers, scanners, laptops, and desktop computers.
  • Ensure desktop computers interconnect seamlessly with various systems.
  • Protect passwords, data integrity, and file system security for the computing environment.
  • Resolve issues by carrying out problem analysis to implement temporary or permanent solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and repair hardware and network connectivity issues.
  • Upgrade and maintain desktop and printer systems.
  • Maintain an excellent level of customer service, ensuring that all customers are treated efficiently and in an appropriate manner.
  • Accurately record, update, and document requests using the IT Ticket system, and any other duties as assigned by the company.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred but not always required).
