Requirements
- Masters degree
- Health sciences-related field
- Educational and/or Teaching background in one or more of the following: Aging, Healthcare Management & Policy, Human resources and management, Nutrition, Ethics, Integrative Health and Wellness, Health Promotion, Medical Terminology, Pathophysiology, Pharmacology, Research Methods, or Scientific Writing
- Strong commitment to student success and academic excellence
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality instruction in a variety of courses within the health sciences program
- Develop and implement engaging and effective teaching strategies to enhance student learning and success
- Provide academic and professional mentorship to students in the health sciences program
- Support students in their academic and career development through advising and guidance
- Contribute to the service needs of the School, College, and University by participating in committees, attending faculty meetings, and engaging in other service activities
- Represent the School in appropriate professional organizations and contribute to the advancement of the health sciences field
- Assist in the development and revision of curriculum to ensure it meets the evolving needs of the health sciences profession and aligns with accreditation standards

- Ability to mentor undergraduate and graduate students
