Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with program management or financial analysis for DoD or federal government programs
- Experience with the Program Budget Information System (PBIS)
- Experience with Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE)
- Experience using Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to prioritize workload and manage delivery effectively
- Ability to perform POM briefings for government leadership
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree
Responsibilities
- Oversee the creation of a financial management strategy
- Develop an actionable plan for securing funding
- Ensure efficient use of funding through tracking and communication
- Compile narrative and statistical material and prepare exhibits for program briefings
- Monitor the execution of the approved operating budget
- Prepare documents needed to process budget estimates, requests for supplemental appropriations, and requests for reprogramming apportionments
Preferred Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience leading, planning, analyzing, and implementing IT programs
- Experience with OPNAV as military, civilian, or contractor staff
- Experience with the PBIS-IT systems
- Experience with DoD program acquisition
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Possession of excellent organizational skills
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Master’s degree
- PMP Certification
