Requirements

  • Proven experience in social media management, ideally within the workwear or apparel/footwear industry.
  • Understanding of the workwear industry and consumer.
  • Strong creative eye and briefing skills.
  • Learning mindset, bringing updates on the evolving social media landscape to the LT.
  • Excellent and thoughtful communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
  • Experience in engaging with followers and customers on social media.
  • Ability to capture content and experience working with influencers a bonus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Set global guidelines for Social best practices for the Dickies brand (look and feel, tone of voice, etc). Meet regularly with the regions to drive synergy and best practices.
  • Agency Management: Oversee social agency, advising on content calendar and conversation with follower engagement.
  • Creative Briefing: Work closely with the creative team briefing in asset or editing needs for each campaign. Assure that content is relevant to the specific channel and most up to date algorithm preferences on that channel.
  • Product Seeding and organic content usage: Seed content and gather UGC to drive brand excitement and influencer.
  • Meetings and Communication: Be an active participant in meetings for content planning and brand strategy. Work closely with the paid media team on social boosting and meta advertising efforts.
  • Brand Safety: Ensure all posts on Dickies social media pages are appropriate and in good taste.
  • Performance Reporting: Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on social media performance, initiatives, and activations.
