Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college or a high school diploma/GED with at least 6 years of experience in strategic planning or business analytics.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in strategic planning, business development, or a related field.
- Proven track record of leading successful strategic initiatives and projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement long-term strategic plans aligned with the company’s vision and goals.
- Conduct market analysis and competitive benchmarking to identify opportunities and threats.
- Lead cross-functional teams to shape strategic initiatives and build consistent processes for resource allocation.
- Collaborate with senior executives to ensure alignment and support for strategic projects.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of strategic initiatives.
- Monitor and report on the progress of strategic projects, making adjustments as necessary.
- Identify and recommend needed capabilities to support the strategy.
- Evaluate new business opportunities, including potential mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the organization.
- Communicate strategic objectives into clearly defined outcomes and progress to stakeholders.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to senior leadership and other key stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Superior communication and presentation skills, able to present complex concepts in concise and actionable terms.
- Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and business analysis tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong understanding of industry trends and market dynamics.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Strategy Consulting experience in the Aerospace industry, preferably with experience working in the Defense industry.
- Experience operationalizing strategy by setting the organization’s operational cadence, establishing and driving KPIs, evaluating performance, and suggesting measures for improvement.
