Requirements

  • Current CA real estate agent’s license
  • 1+ years of commercial and/or residential real estate experience as Property Management Assistant
  • 1+ year in construction and project management
  • Excellent organizational and customer service skills
  • Excellent ability to edit and review reports
  • Outstanding computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong customer service experience

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing and maintaining project files
  • Managing and tracking correspondence between the owner, tenants, and vendors
  • Assisting Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation of the property
  • Reviewing service contracts and preparing and administering all bids for services
  • Coordinating with vendors and service contractors
  • Conducting regular meetings with contractors to ensure optimum performance
  • Creating and maintaining marketing ads for available rental units
  • Processing all applications to lease
  • Generating and maintaining certificates of insurance for vendors and tenants
  • Managing all lease files
  • Responding to tenant inquiries regarding lease clauses
  • Assisting in the maintenance of a proactive tenant relations program
  • Responding personally to tenants’ issues as necessary
  • Organizing all tenant-related events such as holiday parties, seminars, and special events

Preferred Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in business, real estate, or finance (ideally)
