Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent for CMA
- Completion of an accredited medical assisting program with one year of patient care experience preferred for CMA
- Basic computer skills required for CMA
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required for CMA and LPN
- Graduation from a recognized Licensed Practical Nursing program for LPN
- Licensed as an LPN within the state of South Carolina or a compact state for LPN
Responsibilities
- Perform multi-skilled activities to support a decentralized patient-centered approach to patient care for CMA
- Rooming patients for LPN
- Taking vitals and health history for LPN
- Documenting in an electronic medical record for LPN
- Giving injections and assisting with minor procedures for LPN
Preferred Qualifications
- One year of patient care experience preferred for CMA
- One year of LPN experience preferred for LPN
