Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial or a related field
- 2-5 years of experience in process engineering or a similar role in manufacturing or production environments
- Knowledge of process control, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with data-driven insights
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Responsibilities
- Analyze and optimize existing processes by identifying bottlenecks, improving process flow, and reducing waste
- Identify process issues and develop solutions to resolve technical and operational problems
- Collect and analyze process data to evaluate the performance of systems
- Work closely with other departments (e.g., R&D, quality control, production, and maintenance) to ensure seamless implementation of process improvements
- Ensure that all processes comply with environmental, health, and safety standards
- Identify cost-reduction opportunities through process improvements, waste reduction, and efficient use of resources
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation, SOPs, and technical specifications for processes
- Lead or participate in process improvement projects, from planning and budgeting to execution and evaluation
Preferred Qualifications
- A master’s degree is a plus
- Automotive experience is a plus
- Certifications such as Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt), Lean Manufacturing, or Process Safety Management (PSM) are preferred
