Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Broad knowledge of ASC 740 (Accounting for Income Taxes) with specialized expertise in the impact of international tax provisions.
  • Review and preparation of tax provisions, deferred tax assets/liabilities, and uncertain tax positions related to international operations.
  • Prepare and/or review annual income tax federal and state returns for C Corporations and Pass-Through entities with experience in reviewing and preparing Forms 5471, 8858, 8865 and 1118.
  • Technical Expertise in US International Taxation.
  • Deep understanding of US income taxation of corporations, including corporate reorganizations, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
  • Skilled in defending tax return positions under IRS audits, preparing responses, and managing tax controversy matters.
  • Analyze business operations and accounting records to identify income tax implications.
  • Conduct in-depth research on applicable US and international tax laws to reach technical conclusions.
  • Effectively communicate findings and recommendations both verbally and in written reports.
  • Work collaboratively across finance, accounting, legal, and operational departments to ensure compliance and tax efficiency.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to align business strategies with tax considerations.
  • Provide mentorship, training, and career development for tax personnel.
