Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND 3 years of software development experience, preferably using the Java programming language
- OR High School Diploma/GED AND 5 years of software development experience, preferably using the Java and/or Python programming languages
- 1 year of experience developing cloud-hosted applications
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with team members, product owners and other stakeholders to build world class medical coding software
- Working on a mature Natural Language Processing engine that consumes medical documentation inputs and suggests medical concepts and codes
- Assisting on data ETLs and deployment to cloud hosted environments
- Working with stakeholders to debug, develop and improve the engine
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or related from an accredited institution
- Experience with medical coding systems such as ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, etc.
