Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field.
- 5+ years in Database Management or Data Integration.
- Proficient in the Oracle Database Management System.
- Familiar with Oracle tools RMAN, OEM, RAC, ASM, and replication technologies such as DataGuard and GoldenGate.
- Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Design complex databases, tables, stored procedures, views, triggers and other database objects as well as Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) solutions.
- Work closely with application development project teams to ensure optimal application performance.
- Proactively monitor database performance, optimizing through techniques including indexing, query optimization and database design.
- Provide day to day support for databases and database applications ensuring they are backed up properly, and recovery procedures are tested and documented.
