Requirements
- 15+ years of experience supporting ERP or SAP programs, including significant time in federal / DoD contexts.
- Demonstrated success leading or integrating large-scale SAP ERP programs, with deep understanding of how to align functional, technical, and programmatic tracks.
- Strong experience in issue resolution, cross-team coordination, and delivery oversight across large (50–100+ person) teams.
- Outstanding communication skills with the ability to influence and drive decision-making across senior executives, program staff, and delivery partners.
- Ability to understand how SAP ERP solutions (e.g., Finance, Logistics, PSM, D&S) are implemented, and to translate between business needs and technical capabilities.
- Experience supporting programs using Agile or SAFe delivery methodologies.
- Excellent skills in identifying and managing interdependencies, risks, and impacts across a large program portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the integration lead across the SAP ERP program, ensuring synchronization across functional, technical, and program delivery teams.
- Coordinate activities across requirements generation, software solutioning, development, testing, cutover, and deployment efforts.
- Ensure dependencies, risks, and issues are tracked, prioritized, communicated, and resolved in alignment with program goals and delivery milestones.
- Interface effectively with senior government leadership (e.g., SES level) while also engaging tactically with development and operations teams.
- Work closely with PMO, business owners, functional leads, and integrators to align priorities, facilitate decision-making, and ensure cohesive delivery.
- Act as a liaison across diverse teams to ensure continuity, reduce silos, and support the full lifecycle of SAP ERP implementation.
- Bring strategic clarity and execution discipline to large modernization efforts in a federal context.
- Apply familiarity with SAP public sector solutions (included Defense and Security), understanding capabilities at a conceptual level to help teams translate requirements into solutions (without needing to configure the software).
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior hands-on experience in SAP ERP (configuration, implementation, testing, data conversion or program management).
- Familiarity with SAP Public Sector Management (PSM) or Defense & Security (D&S) modules.
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA modernization efforts.
- Understanding of the broader ecosystem (e.g., middleware, integration platforms) without needing hands-on experience (e.g., BTP, CPI, PI/PO).
- Exposure to and familiarity with federal financial or logistics processes.
- Familiarity with AI development tools to expedite the development and documentation of a software system.
