Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) with 14 years of related experience, or 12 years with a Master’s Degree, or 10 years with a PhD.
- Experience facilitating internal and customer collaboration to capture and enhance engineering artifacts
- Demonstrated knowledge of digital design and engineering through full product life cycle
- Demonstrated experience in mission operations, requirements management, system architecture development, and CONOPs
- Demonstrated Backlog Planning and Management
- Risk and Opportunity Management experience
- Candidate must be a US Citizen
- Clearance: Candidate must currently have and be able to maintain an Active DoD TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph
Responsibilities
- Work closely with ASIC, FPGA, digital, and analog hardware engineers utilizing your knowledge of systems engineering methods, tools and techniques
- Demonstrated experience with Systems Development Lifecycle – Focus on trade studies, white papers, analysis of alternatives (AoA), Risk Reduction activities (RR)
- Ability to operate in a team environment and collaborate across multifunctional teams to develop innovative solutions
- Ensure system technical compliance with the program Statement of Work (SOW) and system requirements.
- Manage the vertical and horizontal technical integration throughout the product teams and program life cycle.
- Collect, manage, and report the program metrics and Technical Performance Measures (TPMs).
- Manage risk and opportunity and the production of core engineering work products and track the work products and associated program dependencies in the program schedule.
- Coordinate between the System Architect, Chief Engineer, Product Team Lead(s), program manager, and customer to ensure the integrity and executability of the program technical baseline.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced Degrees in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical fields
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge in design, development, creation, and modification of digital logic designs implemented in FPGA, or ASIC solutions.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge in simulation and verification of Digital Logic designs, requirements, and supporting validation at the system level.
- Experience with ASIC Specification generation and verification.
- Multi-Disciplinary Engineering exposure (Software, Hardware, Electrical) and strong ability to communicate cross functionally.
- Experience leading technical teams.
- Demonstrated Model Based Systems Engineering (SysML).
- Experience with Earned Value Management
- Knowledge of Systems Engineering processing from generation of an Integrated Master Plan (IMP) to Work Product Breakdown into Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for the development of complex systems of systems.
