Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of people management experience, demonstrating strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with a focus on motivating, coaching, and developing employees across onsite, hybrid, and remote environments
- At least 3 years of relevant experience with SAP or a similar ERP system, with a strong working knowledge of source-to-pay processes, especially including sourcing and supplier management
- Prior experience employing data governance, data quality, and data stewardship principles
- A Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience in computer science, information technology, supply chain, business or operations; or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.
Responsibilities
- Oversee teams of professional and business support personnel responsible for creating and maintaining supplier master data across RTX
- Develop and implement long-term supplier master data management strategies and policies for the enterprise
- Ensure supplier data quality, consistency, and accuracy across systems
- Collaborate with business units and stakeholders to align supplier data management practices with business needs
- Provide first-line investigation of supplier data-related issues and proper escalation and resolution of incidents involving loss to RTX due to data inaccuracies or attempted fraud
- Oversee supplier data integration, cleansing, and migration projects
- Contribute to the design and optimization of data workflows
- Represent the Supplier Master Data team in audits and partner with controls experts to ensure remediation of findings that may result due to supplier data inaccuracies, compliance breaches or data governance issues
- Develop and monitor supplier data quality metrics and reports
- Meet department milestones/goals while adhering to approved budget
- Ensure training of teams on proper data management practices
- Intermittent travel less than 10%
Preferred Qualifications
- Problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, project management skills, and the ability to work in a collaborative environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey complex data concepts effectively
- Knowledge of financial controls associated with supplier data integrity, independent review of supplier banking information and anti-corruption practices
- Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams (e.g., supply chain and digital technologies), influence stakeholders, and communicate the importance of supplier data management across the organization
- Adaptability to an evolving ERP and data landscape along with experience using SAP Ariba
