Requirements
- University degree or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of data management, data governance and operational risk with 10+ years relevant industry experience
- Experience in oversight and challenge activities and understanding of 3 Lines of Defense
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills and well-developed listening and negotiation skills
- Strong relationship building skills and the ability to work across silos and build effective working relationships
- Ability to operate effectively with flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment and competing priorities
Responsibilities
- Establish and operationalize DRM reliance model across 1st and 2nd line team impacted by data risk
- Establish and operationalize an end-to-end regulatory change process for data related regulations in all jurisdictions
- Monitor, intake and identify data related regulatory changes and assess impact to current data practices, engaging risk and change owners to implement requirements
- Monitor and report on data risk related to data regulatory changes and implementation plan execution
- Act as a subject matter expert and strategic advisor on data risks
- Stays knowledgeable on emerging issues, trends and regulatory requirements to enable understanding of impact on TD Bank
