Requirements
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology from an accredited college or university
- 3 years of experience in a variety of technical or operational assignments
- Experience leading capital projects, adhering to Kimberly Clark’s capital execution practices, standards, and CFI’s
- Experience working with external technical service providers
Responsibilities
- Carry out all job responsibilities in a safe manner
- Develop equipment and processes that meet safety codes, policies and guidelines
- Provide for the safety and well-being of operators, maintenance, and other personnel
- Lead single or multiple capital or major maintenance projects
- Provide functional guidance in the design, development, and optimization of facilities & utility equipment and processes
- Seek, recognize, define, and solve problems to achieve unit objectives
- Identify complex technical issues and provide necessary solutions to eliminate root cause
- Assist in the development of others within the area of expertise
- Manage site contractors & utility contracts
Preferred Qualifications
- Specific, in depth technical knowledge and expertise in Coform manufacturing or converting processes
- Evidence of continuing self-development
- Familiarity with equipment installations and startups
- Working knowledge of facilities & utilities equipment
