Senior Software Developer in Test

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• 4+ years of software testing experience
• Experience on Web End to End testing
• Strong experience on API/backend service testing
• Strong experience with API (automation) testing
• Familiarity with Web UI testing
• Familiarity with at least one of the below coding languages: NodeJS, Python
• Good teamwork spirit in a dynamic environment
• Fluency in English
• Passion to improve product quality
• Understand the software QA methodologies and software development process

Responsibilities

• Drive and ensure the software quality during the whole software development lifecycle
• Write and execute test cases and scripts
• Prepare checklists and test cases for new feature
• Analyze, debug, report and track software defects
• Contribute to API automation
• Contribute to end-to-end workflows automation (UI)
• Optimize manual vs automation test need
• Collaborate with the extended team of software engineers, product designers and quality assurance engineers across worldwide teams
• Contribute to the development of QA automation framework for our web and micro-services platform
• Evaluate (commercial, open-source or proprietary) testing tools and test frameworks which can be leveraged within a project
• Communicate effectively and responsibly in an Agile environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in performance and load testing
• Experience in other programming languages
• Experience in performance testing and load testing
• Experience on Service monitoring and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of tools like Jenkins, Git, docker, k8s and so on
• Hands-on experience building automated test suites for testing API endpoints and micro-services
