Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics
- 7+ years of finance and/or accounting experience
Responsibilities
- Manage, direct and coordinate the monthly financial close and forecast, including analysis and reporting; drive plans to correct issues
- Prepare and coordinate the annual business plan cycle, including the establishment of financial targets, metrics, and guidelines; calendar of submissions and reviews; coordination of functional team submissions
- Drive productivity in the plant by identifying risk and opportunities and working cross-functionally to implement productivity projects.
- Lead project-based financial analysis and modeling to support profitability and productivity projects
- Responsible for cost accounting, E&O analysis, internal controls, fixed assets and all Sarbanes-Oxley requirements including documentation, testing and remediation efforts
- Ensure preparation of financial information is in accordance with GAAP and prepares company for internal & external audits
- Provide oversight and direction to plant finance team employees with a focus on their development and meeting the needs of the factory.
- Provide financial leadership across the factory as a member of Plant Manager’s staff.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA is preferred
- Financial operations experience coupled with financial planning and analysis required; Previous manufacturing and cost accounting experience required
- Exceptional analytical skills, significant experience in financial forecasting and expertise in the development of financial models
- Ability to lead and develop a team of financial professionals
- Demonstrated proficiency in using Excel, HFM/Hyperion Financial Management and PowerPoint
- Comprehensive knowledge of US GAAP
- Strong communication skills with a history of influencing multiple levels of the organization
- Strong communication skills with ability to present his or her recommendations effectively to senior management in both written form and orally
- Passion for servicing customers. Ability to listen to customer needs and quickly act to solve their problems, go above and beyond to exceed their expectations.
- Proven ability to execute with speed and exhibit a bias for action mindset.
