Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in frontend development, preferably in a SaaS or cloud platform environment.
- Proven experience with modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and related web technologies.
- Solid understanding of frontend architecture, performance optimization, and accessibility best practices.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and handling asynchronous requests efficiently.
- Proficient with version control systems (git), and build tools and bundlers (Webpack, Babel, etc.) and testing frameworks (Jest, Playwright, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for UI/UX details.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
Responsibilities
- Build high-quality, responsive user interfaces using modern frontend technologies such as React.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs, optimizing applications for performance, scalability, and accessibility.
- Maintain operational excellence through test-driven development, automated testing, and thorough documentation.
- Drive improvements in frontend architecture to support future scaling and feature development.
- Actively participate in code reviews, sharing knowledge and contributing to the continuous improvement of team processes.
- Serve as a mentor to other engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of collaboration and learning.
- Develop reusable tools and components that empower other engineering teams to work more efficiently.
- Integrate frontend applications with backend services and APIs, ensuring smooth data handling and application performance.
- Collaborate with the DevOps team to ensure seamless deployment and monitoring of frontend applications.
- Continuously refactor and optimize the frontend codebase to improve performance, maintainability, and usability.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest frontend trends, tools, and best practices to keep Postman’s platform at the forefront of innovation.
- Identify and address technical debt, ensuring the long-term health and scalability of the platform.
