Requirements
- Proven experience as guard services or similar position
- Experience using relevant technology and equipment (e.g. CCTV)
- Experience in reporting and emergency response
- Knowledge of security protocols and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Committed and reliable
- High School Diploma/GED
- Two years of experience in a comparable position
- Proven experience as a Driver
- Valid Driver license
- Clean driving record
- Familiarity with GPS devices
- Knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods
- Ability to lift heavy packages and luggage
- Availability to occasionally take weekend
- Polite and professional disposition
- Applicant must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be and remain compliant with any and all company regulations
- Must have a cellphone
- Must have Active MD Guard Card
Responsibilities
- Implement security policies, protocols and procedures
- Monitor property entrance, follow entrance and exit protocol for employees and visitors
- Respond to emergencies and alarms, notify appropriate law enforcement and management
- Monitor video surveillance equipment
- Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property
- Report incidents, breaches, suspicious behaviors, and happenings
- Investigate and resolve issues
- Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities
- Respond to alarms and react in a timely manner
- Map out driving routes ahead of time to determine the most expedient trip
- Listen to traffic and weather reports to stay up-to-date on road conditions
- Adjust the route to avoid heavy traffic or road constructions, as needed
- Assist with loading and unloading daily orders
- Input clearly and accurately manifest documentation POS system
- Schedule regular car service appointments and report any issues
- Assist cultivation, post-harvest and processing when not on scheduled routes
- Maintaining accurate inventory, transport and distribution records
- Provide exceptional customer service to our customers
- Understand and follow all rules and regulations set forth by the state of Maryland for delivery of medical cannabis
- Understand and follow all policies and procedures as set forth in company’s Standard Operating Procedures
