Requirements
- Typically requires a Bachelor of Science in Science, Technology, Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics (STEM)
- Minimum of ten (10) years of Systems Engineering or related technical discipline experience
- Experience with Radar Systems or other related systems engineering experience
- Experience with radar signal processing, signal processing theory, and/or signal modeling
- Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and requirements development activities that define, characterize, develop and document MDS radar OSI M&S capabilities
- Conduct requirements analysis and benchmarking to verify algorithm designs, ensuring system-level performance aligns with operational systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced Degree in STEM
- Experience with radar system concepts; detection, discrimination, track and signal processing algorithms and their behaviors and performance
- Experience with system level requirements development, documentation and maintenance and/or requirements development and design of system level software architecture
- Experience with the development and coding of system models, algorithms, test vectors and evaluation tools in support of analyzing radar requirements and performance
- Experience with developing, documenting and maintaining processes, methods and tools
- Experience developing technical solutions to complex issues
- Experience working with Matlab (including object oriented programming), Python, C/C++, Java or DOORS
- Experience with the software development process using Agile Methodologies and tooling, including such as JIRA and Confluence
- Documented experience showing analytic, technical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with MS Office Suite
- Experience demonstrating your communication, technical writing, oral presentation and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience interfacing with customers and leading technical solutions to complex user needs
- Experience working alone and in a geographically distributed team environment
- Experience working with other disciplines and communicating with all levels of the organization and stakeholders
