Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required
- Degrees in Legal Studies, Business Administration, or a related field are highly preferred
- Experience as an attorney, other timekeeper, or manager in a law firm is required
- A Minimum of three years in a supervisory role at a law firm, or similar professional service environment, is highly preferred
- Leadership: The ability to motivate and guide a diverse team via strong interpersonal skills in a fast-paced, challenging legal work environment
- Organization: Exceptional multitasking and project management skills with the ability to analyze processes to determine effectiveness and deficiencies
- Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to correspond all levels business professionals, attorneys, and Firm leadership
- Technical: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, numerical analysis, and ability to utilize technology to advance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Global Business Unit
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Global Business Leaders and Practice Group Leaders to develop and implement procedures that align with business unit goals and Firm initiatives
- Facilitate the growth and development of non-partner timekeepers, ensuring equal work opportunities, and coordinating talent management efforts
- Oversee the efficient management of timekeepers’ capacity, support staff functions, and normalized processes across offices to maintain strategic initiatives and business plans
- Organize and lead training programs related to IT, Business Development, and interpersonal skills to ensure continuous professional development
- Coordinate with various departments to develop and implement competitive strategies to drive client service methods through innovation and efficiency by utilizing new technologies, processes, and industry standards
- Provide monthly performance reports and collaborate on pricing strategies to maintain competitive edge and enhance our overall client service
- Work with Human Resources and Office Administrators to handle employee relations situations, disciplinary actions, and performance evaluations
