Requirements
- Minimum 10-12 years of experience working with producers and producer commissions in the insurance industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and data analytics platforms (e.g., SAS, R).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders across lines of business.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
- Experience with commission program design and implementation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop a Comprehensive Producer Distribution Strategy: Collaborate with stakeholders to create a strategy that achieves business objectives and aligns with market trends, competitor activity, and producer performance data.
- Analyze Market Trends and Data: Identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement by analyzing market trends, competitor activity, and producer performance data to inform the broader strategy.
- Drive Execution of Strategic Objectives: Partner with various teams, including sales, underwriting, marketing, and product, to execute tactics necessary to achieve strategic objectives.
- Design and Implement Commission Programs: Partner with finance, sales, and sales operations to design and implement commission programs that drive desired producer behavior and business outcomes.
- Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Develop and maintain dashboards to track KPIs for producer performance and commission programs, providing actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Develop Cross-Market Producer Plans: Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to develop cross-market, firm-level producer plans that enhance relationships and drive results.
- Drive Process Improvements and Efficiency: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness, leveraging data and analytics to inform business decisions and drive initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) preferred.
