Sr. Principal Systems Engineer

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 8 years of relevant experience; 6 years with a Masters; 4 years with a PhD
Active Top Secret/SCI clearance at time of application
Ability to work in a fast-paced matrixed organization
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
Ability to successfully liaison with MTC IPT Leaders
Well versed in Radio Frequency (RF) engineering
Well versed in hardware drawings, rack elevations, power distribution, and networking
Well versed in development and presentation of System Engineering Technical Reviews
Well versed in Requirements and Performance Specifications
Well versed in Information Technology knowledge (servers, switches, storage)
Well versed in Concept of Operations (CONOP)
Well versed in Use Case development

Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems
Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints
Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications
Maintain existing operations procedures up-to-date to also include lessons learned from real-time performance
Develop new procedures as required
Interface with program and customer personnel
