Requirements
- Understand appropriate test method and equipment to perform all required testing (and sampling) as specified by internal and external customers
- Perform check-out of each job in Press and Laminating to include specifications, film types, job jacket, etc.
- Perform visual check on all samples representing material produced on shift
- Accurately entering data into PRISM for retention and reporting
- Perform accurate calibration checks of all equipment
- Responsible for creating hold tags for defective material and ensuring rolls are tagged for proper identification
- Daily use of the X-rite software and spectrophotometer
- Maintain department 5S standards including housekeeping and stocking supplies
- Daily filing of job jackets
- Fire Crew responsibilities include closing fire doors
- Being well versed in customer specifications and knowing how to identify structures for comparison to the proper spec
- Effective communication of results to the Laminating and Press Operators as well as Department Leads
- Use of PRISM screens to obtain job/production information
