Requirements
- Masters’ Degree in higher education, student engagement, community engagement, or other related field required
- 3-5 years of total work experience
- 1-3 years of supervisory experience
- Driver’s license required and ability to be insured by the university
Responsibilities
- Lead Community Engagement and Leadership initiatives for students
- Develop and oversee risk management policies for community service opportunities
- Manage the onboarding process for community partners, student volunteer training, and service hours tracking
- Organize the annual Celebration of Service and Leadership Award Ceremony
- Manage the Service and Leadership Pre-Orientation Program
- Serve as a resource to students and staff on community engagement initiatives
- Design, implement, and continuously improve a comprehensive student leadership training program
- Provide oversight and direction for the Community Engagement Ambassador Program (CEAP)
- Collaborate with campus partners on community engagement, events, and programs throughout the year
- Provide leadership, supervision, professional development, and evaluation of a team
- Assist the Director with strategic planning and management of the Department of Student Engagement
- Support departmental programs and events
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with grant writing preferred
- Some Nights and Weekends required
