Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Legal Resident.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
- Two (2) years of job-related experience including basic computer operations skills is required. Must be able to process routine reports.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and be able to operate a government general-purpose vehicle.
Responsibilities
- Repairing and servicing office machines such as adding, accounting, and calculating machines, using hand tools, and power tools.
- Operating machines to test moving parts and to listen to the sounds of machines to locate causes of trouble.
- Disassembling machines and examining parts, such as gears, guides, rollers, and pinions for wear and defects.
- Repairing, adjusting, or replacing parts and cleaning oils moving parts.
- Giving instruction in operation and care of machines to machine operators or assembling new machines.
- Performing all other position-related duties as assigned or requested.
