Requirements
- 9 or more years of finance experience (Level 3)
- 12 or more years of finance experience (Level 4)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field from an accredited four-year college or university (will be verified) and 5 years of experience (Level 3)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field from an accredited four-year college or university (will be verified) and 8 years of experience (Level 4)
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field and 3 years of experience (Level 3)
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field and 6 years of experience (Level 4)
- Knowledge of applications in a computerized environment, including spreadsheet applications and databases (e.g. MS Excel, MS Access, MS Power Point)
- Independent self-starter and proactive contributor
- Ability to prioritize multiple assignments in order to meet deadlines
- Demonstrated success building partnerships across organizational boundaries
- Ability to work in a team environment and build relationships with others
- Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
Responsibilities
- Supporting a portfolio of programs
- Consolidation of and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial market area reports
- Reviewing and ensuring consistency and accuracy on quarterly Estimate at Completion (EAC) reports and packages
- Supporting cash management activities including proposal cash flow, cash negotiation plan, forecasting and collections
- Lead program specific activities including program set-up, funding profiles, customer specific financial reports, internal and external program management reviews, Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBR), and backlog validation and analysis
- Provide training and direction to individual financial analysts assigned to programs
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in developing and delivering presentations and leading small groups
- Aerospace and/or DoD experience
- Knowledge of Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) and experience executing programs with contractual EVMS requirements
- Knowledge of program scheduling
- Prior Experience with Deltek or SAP financial applications (CostPoint, Cobra, OpenPlan, PM Compass)
