Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related discipline required
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience with water resources, drinking water, and/or wastewater
- Licensed PE in Tennessee
- Increasing skills in creativity and judgment in application of engineering
- Increased knowledge of software appropriate for the discipline, showing proficiency in multiple programs specific for this
- Ability to collaborate with others in a team environment
Responsibilities
- Advanced recognition of the need for and development of design
- Perform complex analysis and check and sign off on basic design calculations and plans
- Layout drawings for a component and demonstrate an understanding of relationship to the whole
- Design elements/components of a project and coordinate development with other elements and disciplines
- Demonstrate understanding between specifications, cost estimates and pay
- Assume responsibility for assigned design calculation files, assuring adequate independent QC reviews on that
