Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture or related field required
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience in landscape architecture or civil site design
- Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and the Microsoft Office suite
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, Lumion, Revit, or similar visualization software
- Proven ability to independently manage portions of a project from concept through construction
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience with technical writing
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across disciplines and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong design sensibility and a detail-oriented mindset
Responsibilities
- Lead site research and analysis efforts including zoning compliance, landscape ordinances, and development standards
- Develop conceptual site plans, master plans, and construction documentation with minimal oversight
- Oversee and contribute to the production of detailed drawings, design narratives, and visual presentations
- Coordinate directly with clients, municipalities, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality project outcomes
- Mentor and support junior designers and interns, providing guidance and design feedback
- Support or lead efforts in cost estimation, quantity takeoffs, and value engineering
- Participate in field inspections and on-site design evaluations as needed
- Contribute to design innovation and standards development within the Landscape Architecture group
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with field inspections and direct coordination with contractors and municipal agencies is a plus
