Requirements
- 3+ years in clinical area of expertise
- Experience as the lead or SME
- Must reside in Central, Southern, or Northwestern Illinois
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
Responsibilities
- Coordinates processes and assignments for supervisors and individual contributors to achieve the Health Services area’s goals.
- Advises team on policies and procedures to ensure compliance and achievement of the organization’s goals and objectives for Health Services.
- Ensures implementation and monitoring of best practices in health services to address member needs across the continuum of care.
- Devises the allocation of resources for identification of members, development and implementation of care plans, enhancement of medical appropriateness and quality of care, and care documentation.
- Serves as a subject matter expert for the team regarding practice standards, intervention quality, and problem resolution.
- Assesses team developmental needs and collaborates to identify and implement action plans to support development.
- Executes support for members and account teams by participating in member meetings, integrating cultural requirements, and orienting new members.
- Manages operational aspects of the team (e.g., budget, performance, and compliance), and implements workforce and succession plans to meet business needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Managed Medicare/Medicaid experience preferred
- Computer literacy and experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and web-based applications.
- Ability to work with people in such a manner as to build high morale and group commitment to goals and objectives.
- Ability to evaluate and interpret data, identify areas of improvement, and focus on interventions to improve outcomes.
- Ability to communicate effectively with Providers, Members, Staff and other Leaders both in oral and written formats (e.g., may provide support to the sales staff & network staff via onsite customer visits and/or presentations).
