Requirements
- Bilingual in English & Spanish is strongly preferred
- High School Diploma or GED
- Texas Life and Health General Lines Insurance License
- Ability to meet Sales Goals, once training and coaching is completed
- Detail Oriented
- Reliable and Dependable
- Be willing to work as a team and independently
- Proficient in Microsoft programs
Responsibilities
- Sell various types of Life and Health insurance policies to individuals
- Stay compliant with all products and clients
- Complete necessary trainings certifications, AHIP
- Attend meetings, seminars and programs to learn about new and current products
- Researching and matching the best insurance product for the client
- Explain features, advantages and disadvantages of various policies to promote sale of insurance plans
- Develop marketing strategies to meet sales goals
- Ensure that policy requirements are fulfilled, including any necessary medical examinations and the completion of appropriate forms
- Perform administrative tasks, such as maintaining records and handling policy renewals
- Seek out new clients and develop clientele by networking to find new customers and generate lists of prospective clients
- Participate in team building
- Other duties assigned by leadership
