Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven progressive HR experience, particularly in benefits administration
  • Strong understanding of HR policies, employment laws, and industry best practices
  • In-depth knowledge of benefits regulations and compliance requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

  • Lead the onboarding and offboarding processes with precision and care
  • Draft employment contracts, offer letters, and handle all HR-related documentation
  • Partner with HR leaders to implement impactful HR programs and initiatives
  • Maintain and update employee records in HR systems
  • Be a key player in the maintenance of our HRIS
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement, automation, and system upgrades
  • Drive HR operations audits
  • Ensure all HR operations align with local labor laws and company policies
  • Produce insightful HR reports and metrics
  • Represent HR on the corporate OHS Committee
  • Answer employee questions about benefits
  • Oversee and manage leaves of absence
  • Collaborate with insurance providers and resolve any coverage or claims issues
  • Lead benefits orientation sessions
  • Manage annual US Benefit Open Enrollment
  • Be a trusted resource for employees
  • Help resolve HR-related issues
  • Support employee engagement initiatives, wellness programs, and company-wide events

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with US employment law and benefits administration
