Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma)
- 5 years’ Experience in Project Control Planning & Scheduling function within an EPC environment, including execution of several projects with significant site exposure
- Knowledge in of power plant principles and work processes of EPC environments
- Expertise of Primavera P6 (with resources loaded schedules)
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain integrated L2/L3 project schedules for a medium portfolio of projects
- Support continuous improvement of Equipment Planning processes and developing/maintaining KPIs
- Set up integrated project schedule (including L3/L2 and S curves) baseline working with internal GEV team
- Ensure schedules accurately reflect project scope and execution strategy
- Continuously monitor project on time delivery performance
- Proactively monitor project schedule to highlight slippages and identify corrective actions
- Update L2/L3 project schedule based on inputs from GEV team
- Perform schedule analysis on monthly basis to identify critical impacts and provide mitigations suggestions
- Ensure WIPT is updated monthly
- Work with project team to identify mitigation strategies
- Escalate critical project issues to the internal project manager and project team
- Ensure reports for other functions and customers accurately reflect status of project equipment
- Communicate to functions impact of execution strategy changes
- Act as a resource for project team members
- Perform the critical path analysis for deliverables
- Perform delay analysis to support extension of time and cost claims
