Requirements

  • 5+ years in a solution architecture, pre-sales engineering, or cloud technical role.
  • Strong development background with experience in building scalable applications (Python, Java, or similar).
  • In-depth knowledge of Databricks offerings (e.g., Delta Lake, Unity Catalog).
  • Experience working in or with software vendors or SaaS providers.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with an ability to simplify complex concepts.
  • Up to 50% travel required within the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and validate cloud-native solution architectures in collaboration with Databricks.
  • Align our software capabilities with Databricks to create differentiated joint solutions.
  • Develop reference architectures, technical diagrams, and reusable patterns that showcase integrated use cases.
  • Represent the Qlik brand and technology at Databricks and partner events & webinars.
  • Deliver compelling technical enablement sessions to business and technical audiences including partner architects, and system integrators.
  • Create technical content (demos, whitepapers, solution briefs, blog posts) that demonstrates thought leadership and showcases solution value.
  • Build strong relationships with Databricks and its teams.
  • Work closely with our product and engineering teams to provide field feedback and influence roadmap decisions.
  • Engage with system integrators to extend solution delivery capabilities and drive adoption.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Gen AI knowledge, an asset.
  • Experience working with system integrators and/or managing partner solution development, an asset.
  • Background in cloud go-to-market (GTM) motions with hyperscalers like Databricks, an asset.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud security fundamentals, an asset.
  • Knowledge of enterprise IT landscapes, integration architectures, and modern data platforms, an asset.
