Requirements

  • Seven years’ experience in fighter aircraft maintenance management (military, contractor or civilian).
  • Extensive knowledge and experience using aircraft maintenance information systems (MIS).
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Manages installed and spare engines for the Aerial Targets Contract (SRAN 4819). Performs initial load of engine components into applicable data bases upon arrival.
  • Tracks fleet engine time changes, inspections, Time Change Technical Orders (TCTOs), engine history, engine maintenance and engine preservation dates to coordinate required maintenance actions.
  • Analyzes maintenance data and projects scheduled and non-scheduled events that impact operations and briefs supervision.
  • Processes local engine downloads into engine data bases after receipt from flight line personnel.
  • Must be able to analyze and resolve data conflicts between all engine data bases and MIS.
  • Coordinates with Supervision, Jet Engine Intermediate Maintenance (JEIM), Item Managers and/or outside agencies for engine disposition instructions and associated logistics for transportation to overhaul facilities.
  • Coordinates spare engine levels with appropriate agencies to ensure assets are available.
  • Develops training programs, materials and trains lower classification personnel.
  • Performs related clerical functions associated with Engine Management such as updating status boards and MIS inputs.
  • Performs other duties and related tasks within their classification as assigned by Supervisors.
