Requirements
- Background in fine arts, photography, graphic design, or media studies.
- Understanding and passion for elements of photography and graphic design such as composition, colors, lighting, typography, and other elements that contribute to appealing visuals.
- Ability to discern and appreciate subtle differences in image quality including resolution, clarity, and colour accuracy.
- Capability to analyze data and make informed decisions about the quality and relevance of visual content.
- Awareness of current trends, best practices, and standards in photography and graphic design.
- Good organizational and documentation skills — can define taxonomies and style guides.
Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the taxonomy and quality standard for visual assets.
- Curate collections of high-quality and diverse assets like photos and graphic designs.
- Collect internal and external feedback on model quality to document areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the machine learning team to guide model finetuning, prompting strategies, and dataset filtering to achieve desired visual aesthetics.
- Create and manage a visual style guide that can inform training data curation, prompt engineering, and user-facing documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
- An existing portfolio demonstrating hands-on experience in graphic design and / or photography.
- Hands on experience with state of the art generative AI image and video models.
