Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of tech/startup or digital product agency experience, or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience with end-to-end (hybrid UX and UI) product design
- Experience working on consumer products
- Experience working with developers and PMs building and shipping applications or software
- Extraordinary visual design skills and strong understanding of UX principles
- Background in visual/interaction design, UX/UI, branding & identity, and typography
- Experience with low and high-fidelity prototyping
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities
- Own design projects from concept through launch.
- Be the voice of our users by understanding their behaviors through quantitative and qualitative data.
- Work closely with product and engineering to find elegant and delightful solutions to design challenges.
- Produce high quality designs and experiences; knowing when to apply pixel-perfect attention to detail, and when to make lo-fi sketches and prototypes.
- Contribute your design thinking skills to other areas of the platform (education, marketing, customer success, etc.).
- Use your technical understanding to evaluate design solutions and facilitate guidance to engineering teams.
- Break down ambiguous problems, ruthlessly prioritize the highest impact work, and align a cross-functional team around it.
- Sweat the details, strive for simplicity, and tie together interconnected projects to make complex tasks approachable.

- Experience with design systems
- Experience designing for various platforms, web, iOS, android
- A strong understanding of software engineering workflows and principles is encouraged
