Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field is preferred.
  • 8-10 years of hands-on experience with MuleSoft and API Management.
  • Excellent knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) concepts.
  • Deep experience with Anypoint Platform, Flow Design, API Design, DataWeave, and Runtime Fabric (RTF).
  • Experience in building DevOps CI/CD processes using Jenkins and GitOps with ArgoCD.
  • Working knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture, Integration Patterns, Java, SOAP Web services, RESTful services, and RAML.
  • Experience with MuleSoft RTF deployments on Cloud, including scaling concepts using Horizontal Pod Autoscaler (HPA) and Kubernetes Event-driven Autoscaling (KEDA).
  • Good experience with Kubernetes environments.
  • Experience with cloud technologies, particularly Azure or similar cloud platforms.
  • Strong understanding and experience with security implementations, such as SSL/mutual SSL, SAML, and OAuth.
  • Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, Maven, MUnit, and integration testing frameworks.
  • Experience in building MuleSoft custom connectors.
  • Experience in Center for Enablement (C4E) platform enablement and architecting complex integration projects across various domains.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Ability to develop technical documentation on applications and systems.
  • Ability to work effectively with both technical and business-oriented teams.

Responsibilities

  • Researches and recommends new technologies to enhance current systems, ensuring the platform remains cutting-edge and efficient.
  • Supports technical initiatives, usually as part of a larger project, contributing to the overall success of integration and development projects.
  • Maintains strong hands-on skills with the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, ensuring proficiency in the latest MuleSoft products, strategies, and best practices.
  • Stays updated with the latest trends and advancements in MuleSoft and integration technologies, implementing Center for Enablement (C4E) best practices to standardize and optimize development processes.
  • Applies strong infrastructure knowledge, including servers, clusters, load balancers, firewall rules, SSL, Virtual Private Clouds (VPC), Virtual Private Networks (VPN), and certificates, to architect reliable and secure integration solutions.
  • Conducts technical proof of concepts and guides the MuleSoft platform team on implementation strategies, ensuring effective and efficient solutions.
  • Implements basic and OAuth authentication protocols for every API service call from outside the network, ensuring secure communication.
  • Secures service account passwords using encryption mechanisms with various encryption methods, maintaining high standards of data security.
  • Reviews applications and provides infrastructure sizing guidelines, ensuring that the deployment environment is appropriately scaled and optimized for performance.
  • Implements best practices for MuleSoft development, ensuring high-quality and maintainable code.
  • Develops and maintains documentation for C4E platform capabilities, providing clear and comprehensive guides for development teams.
  • Implements platform seed template upgrades and works with application teams to facilitate adoption, ensuring consistency and efficiency across projects.
