Senior Staff Accountant

Requirements

• Mastery of NetSuite is a requirement for this position
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
• Minimum of 4 years of progressive accounting experience
• Solid understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting requirements
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trends
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with GAAP standards
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, vendor payments, customer billing, and collections
• Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, regulations, and company policies
• Monitor cash flow and cash balances, including daily cash reconciliations
• Assist with tax compliance activities, including preparation of tax returns, filings, and payments
• Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as requested by management
• Continuously evaluate and improve accounting processes and procedures to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in NetSuite accounting software and ERP systems
• CPA certification preferred
• Experience in the healthcare industry or staffing industry preferred, but not required
