Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in manufacturing operations.
  • Working knowledge and practical experience applying Continuous Improvement principles and processes within the manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the proven ability to manage change, develop others, and strategically plan for continuous improvement leveraging appropriate pillar processes.
  • Highly effective facilitation and project management skill sets.
  • Ability to effectively assess situations and make appropriate decisions in a timely manner.
  • Strong influential leadership skills.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset and ability to understand and organize data.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the implementation of the Altium Production System (APS) across multiple pillars: Safety, Quality, Leadership Autonomous Maintenance, Planned Maintenance, Focused Improvement, Continuous Skills Development, and Early Management.
  • Deploy appropriate TPM methodology with a focus on operations.
  • Work closely with plant leadership and functional groups to drive loss elimination.
  • Educate, communicate, and work with all levels of manufacturing associates, including senior leadership, plant leaders, and shop-floor employees.
  • Plan, lead, and facilitate meetings/working sessions.
  • Direct and lead multiple initiatives at once.
  • Align with site leadership on loss plans and processes.
  • Build and implement detailed project plans.
  • Utilize computer skills necessary to build presentations and spreadsheets.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience implementing TPM in rigid plastics and/or continuous flow manufacturing.
  • Experience with continuous manufacturing processes.
  • Experience using enterprise ERP and loss understanding systems.
  • Is willing and eager to learn and grow with the company while having future leadership aspirations.
