Requirements
- Studying towards a Master’s / Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business / Data Analytics, Data Science or equivalent technical domain. At least 2 years of college education completed.
- Requires technical and analytical skills, knowledge and abilities.
- Solid communication and presentation skills with attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Engage with requestors to scope the analysis required and the mode of data delivery.
- Coordinate collection and compilation of HR metrics and data from a variety of sources including the human resource information system (HRIS), payroll outputs, management and employee surveys, exit interviews, government labor statistics, competitors practices, and other sources.
- Generate insights using different analytical approaches (e.g., trend, regression, etc.) to tell the story using data. In other words, translate data into actionable information.
- Create compelling presentations and visualizations based on data.
- Analyze data leveraging statistics to identify trends and patterns in disparate data sets including recruitment, hiring practices, turnover and other HR or business functions.
- Participate in presentations to learn various aspect of ASML operations.
- Collaborate with ASML’s People Analytics Team on the analysis method and tools for specific projects.
- Utilize tools such as Power BI, Excel and / or Spotfire.
- Document and present findings in an end of summer presentation to the group about what they achieved during their internship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Skilled in MS Excel, PowerPoint, relational databases and data management tools.
- Ability to develop visualizations, and work with a variety of analytic products or dashboards.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team and follow through on assignments with minimal supervision.
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with co-workers and internal customers.
- Work within procedures and provided timelines.
- Ability to handle highly confidential data.
- Familiarity with Workday.
