Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in chemical engineering, materials science, electrical engineering, physics, chemistry, or a related field of study
- 5+ years of semiconductor manufacturing experience in wet etch, with preference for linear sink experience
- Good understanding of wet etch chemicals and process knowledge
- Able to work on-site in cleanroom
- Experience in a high volume manufacturing environment
Responsibilities
- Sustaining high volume wafer manufacturing by providing technical expertise in wet etch and diffusion preclean processes
- Developing improvements to manufacturing processes and modifications to production process flows to improve yield, quality, cost, and cycle time
- Root cause investigation of discrepant material and implementation of quality improvement programs
- Troubleshooting process shifts and applying SPC fundamentals to identify areas for improvement
- Optimizing process to lower cost, maximize output, and match performance across tools
- Qualifying new equipment and new processes
- Analyzing cycle time and equipment overall operational efficiency

- Experience on JST, TEL, and/or SCP linear sinks
- Familiarity with front end wet etch processes/chemistries including HF, sulfuric, SC1, SC2, phosphoric, and BOE
