Summer Intern – FP & a

Currently a rising Junior/Senior enrolled in an undergraduate university.
Able to commit to up to 40 hours a week from early June to late August.
Able to commute to the Oakland office in a hybrid modality for the duration of the internship.
Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
Proficiency in Excel, with a curiosity for data analysis and familiarity with P&L development.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Solution-oriented and innovative, with the desire to bring forward new ideas and contribute to all areas of the business.
Strong oral, written communication, and interpersonal skills—a team player who can collaborate effectively with others.
Ability to synthesize large data sets and provide actionable insights that drive business decisions.
Excellent time management skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Participate in financial forecasting, variance analysis, and reporting processes, translating financial data into actionable insights for stakeholders.
Work with cross-functional teams to gather necessary data and insights to support financial analysis and business cases.
Assist with month-end and quarter-end closing activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses to support business decisions, including scenario planning, “what-if” analysis, and special projects.
Contribute to profitability initiatives and process improvements across multiple business units, helping to drive financial performance.
Collaborate with the FP&A team on special projects, providing analytical support and insights where needed.
