Requirements
- Expertise in culturing and maintaining induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSCs) lines
- Experience in directed cell differentiations
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within and across teams
- Willingness to work in a highly dynamic and fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
Responsibilities
- Support Drug Substance and Drug Product development team by maintaining a continuous induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) seed train
- Perform directed differentiations to support material generation for cross functional team
- Support Drug Substance development team by performing cell-based and molecular assays as needed (e.g. ELISAs, Flow Cytometry, qRT-PCR, metabolic)
- Maintain a detailed and up-to-date electronic lab notebook and write high quality experimental protocols
- Present results to the scientific team and management
- Availability to work some weekends
Preferred Qualifications
- BA/BS in life sciences, biology, or related field with 1-2 years of relevant in vitro experience in academia or industry
- Previous experience with iPSC cultured and directed differentiations
- Experience with molecular and cell biology assays
